As of January 2019, the plush was not consistently available in the Blizzard Gear Store or the digital shop, so checking third-party sellers or the Auction House may be your best option for obtaining the pet or its code.
Farm Aquatics in Valley of the Four Winds
The Wind Rider Cub's combination of beast and flying moves makes it effective for farming aquatic pets in the Valley of the Four Winds, where critter-type pets frequently join wild pet battles.
Tips
Unlike its Alliance counterpart the Gryphon Hatchling, the Wind Rider Cub has no wild version, making the store pet the only way to obtain it. The Wind Rider Cub also flies alongside your mount, which the wild Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling does not.
