Track Your Pet Count
You need 600 unique battle pets to earn the 'So. Many. Pets.' achievement and unlock Stormwing. Sources to work toward that total include wild pets, vendor purchases, quest rewards, profession-crafted pets, world drops, world event pets, and achievement-rewarded pets.
Collect To 600 Pets
Wild pets alone account for over 300 obtainable pets, making them the largest single source toward the 600 required. Vendor-purchased pets contribute around 100, and profession-crafted pets add another 51, giving you a strong foundation before pursuing rarer sources.
Claim Stormwing From Achievement
Once the 'So. Many. Pets.' achievement completes at 600 unique pets collected, Stormwing is automatically added to your pet collection.
