Acquisition Guide

The Rusty Mechanocrawler is a mount that drops from the rare spawn Arachnoid Harvester, located in Mechagon.

1

Travel to Mechagon

Head to Mechagon and locate the rare spawn Arachnoid Harvester just west of Bondo's Yard at 51.69, 41.57.

2

Defeat Arachnoid Harvester

Kill Arachnoid Harvester and loot it for a chance at the Rusty Mechanocrawler. Note that this rare can only be looted once per day per character.

3

Track daily kill status

Use the following macro to check whether Arachnoid Harvester has already been killed on your character today: /run for k,v in pairs({Arachnoid=55512,Rustfeather=55811,Soundless=56298}) do print(format("%s: %s", k, C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(v) and "|cFFFF0000Completed|r" or "|cFF00FF00Not Completed|r")) end

4

Farm across multiple characters

Each of your characters can kill Arachnoid Harvester once per day, so farming on multiple characters increases the number of daily attempts you can make.

Tips

  • The Rusty Mechanocrawler has been confirmed to drop even on characters who have not completed the Mechagon intro quests.
