The most effective method is farming Cartel-specific Rares such as Voltstrike the Charged, Scrapchewer, M.A.G.N.O., and Giovante repeatedly — the drop chance for Miscellaneous Mechanica is not removed after the first kill of the day. At Renown 6 you can trigger their spawn events yourself, making this more efficient. Alternatively, joining a Market Research farming group running Darkfuse troves after reaching Exalted with the Darkfuse faction yields roughly 1– 2 Miscellaneous Mechanica every 2–3 hours, amounting to approximately 30 hours of farming to reach the 25 needed for the mount. Overflowing dumpsters in the zone are also a noted source, outperforming boss loot in total yield.
