Hexflame Reaver

Complete the Midnight Prey introduction, reach Preyhunter's Journey Rank 1, finish the Coiled Isle opening through What Lies Beyond the Fog, and follow Prey: A Slithering Threat. These unlock Ral'kala's Curse of the Isle interaction; simply standing on the island without that phase does not expose the event.

Start a Nightmare Prey hunt on the Coiled Isle or speak to the Image of Astalor Bloodsworn at 58.21, 48.72 to toggle Curse of the Isle. Open the zone map and look for the ghostly-blue Haunted Brazier icon; if none is active, wait for the next brazier rather than farming an unrelated rare.

Gather the skull-marked Ossified Relics visible while the curse is active, use the repeatable Prey: Anguish from Beyond quest when available, or retain relics returned by Ral'kala kills. The brazier is a shared public progress bar, so a group can pool contributions.

Reach the active Haunted Brazier before its shared bar fills and burn at least 1 Ossified Relic. Confirm that your character gains Whispers from De Other Side; that buff is the practical proof that the kill can push Ral'kala rewards to you. Merely tagging the boss without contributing is not sufficient.

When the bar completes, immediately tag Ral'kala after the short Delayed Demise immunity and remain alive and in range through the kill. The reward is pushed to eligible characters rather than looted from an ordinary personal-loot corpse; if you die, release and retag before the boss falls when possible.

Ral'kala can be defeated repeatedly. For every attempt, contribute at least one relic, verify Whispers from De Other Side, and tag the boss again. Hexflame Reaver is a chance reward with no official drop rate or guaranteed-attempt counter; the separate 50-kill achievement is not the mount requirement.
