Battlegear of the Somber Gaze is a transmog set obtained from Mythic Cache rewards unlocked by completing either 21+ Heroic Blackrock Foundry kills or 8+ Mythic Highmaul kills.
Complete Heroic BRF or Mythic HM
Defeat bosses in Blackrock Foundry on Heroic difficulty (minimum 21 loot-eligible kills, with at least one kill after patch 6.1 launch) or defeat 8+ bosses in Highmaul on Mythic difficulty to unlock your Mythic Cache quest.
Open Mythic Cache
Complete the Mythic Cache quest to receive a cache that contains transmog pieces from the Battlegear of the Somber Gaze set.
Tips
Heroic Blackrock Foundry kills cannot be repeated on the same boss within the same week; ensure your 21 kills come from multiple bosses or span across weeks.
Cache rewards are not limited to bosses in the mission briefing—items can drop from any boss killed during the qualifying raid.
