Tower Ascendant's Battlegear is a Leatherworking transmog set from Shadowlands that requires crafting each of its 8 armor slots up to Rank 4 using a pattern purchased in Oribos after unlocking it through the Runecarver in Torghast.

1

Unlock the Runecarver Quest

Complete the introductory Torghast quest chain and release one of the Runecarver's hands. The Runecarver will then offer you a quest directing you to the Leatherworking trainer in Oribos.

2

Learn the Pattern in Oribos

Speak with the Leatherworking trainer in Oribos after reaching Shadowlands Leatherworking 100/100 and completing the Runecarver's quest — the trainer will teach you the pattern for each armor slot for 25 gold each.

3

Gather Materials Per Slot

To level a single slot (Helm, Vest, or Greaves) to Rank 4, collect 75 Enchanted Heavy Callous Hide, 75 Heavy Callous Hide, 195 Heavy Desolate Leather, 300 Pallid Bone, and 180 Orboreal Shard — note this does not include the mats for crafting the actual Rank 4 item itself.

4

Gather Materials for All 8 Slots

To level all 8 armor slots to Rank 4, you will need a total of 513 Enchanted Heavy Callous Hide, 513 Heavy Callous Hide, 1305 Heavy Desolate Leather, 2040 Pallid Bone, and 1260 Orboreal Shard.

5

Craft Manually at Each Rank

Do not use the Create All button when you are close to reaching the next rank — stop crafting once you reach a new rank threshold and resume using the newly unlocked rank, otherwise the game will continue crafting at the lower rank even after you qualify for the higher one.

Tips

  • When leveling a slot and you are close to unlocking the next rank, stop crafting manually rather than using Create All, to avoid wasting materials crafting at a lower rank than necessary.
