S.E.A.T. is a Dragonflight Engineering toy obtained by salvaging scrap through the Rummage Through Scrap recipe, which places a chair on the ground that any nearby player can sit on for 5 minutes.

Invest Knowledge Points in Scrapper
You need 40 knowledge points invested into Scrapper within the Optimized Efficiency specialization tree to unlock the chance of obtaining the S.E.A.T. from the Rummage Through Scrap recipe.
Gather Pieces of Scrap
You need 5 
Piece of Scrap per attempt. Equip Engineering tinkers on gear such as bracers or helms and throw bombs to generate scrap — using 
Tinker: Plane Displacer and throwing 
Grease Grenade yielded scrap roughly 50% of the time per attempt.
Use Rummage Through Scrap
Use the Rummage Through Scrap recipe with your 5 Piece of Scrap. The S.E.A.T. has approximately a 5–10% drop chance per attempt, with the drop rate reported to have increased to 10% as of patch 10.1.5.
Reduce Malfunction Chance
Tinkers and bombs regularly malfunction, interrupting scrap generation. Specialization perks such as Optimized Efficiency > Generalist (35 points) or Mechanical Mind (35 points) > Inventions (30 points) can reduce the likelihood of malfunctions.
Use the S.E.A.T. Toy
Once obtained, using the S.E.A.T. spawns a chair behind your character that any player — regardless of party or raid membership — can see and interact with from up to 40 yards away. The chair lasts 5 minutes and shares a 5-minute cooldown.
Tips
The S.E.A.T. is also available on the Auction House if you prefer to purchase it from other players rather than farming it yourself.
