Stormpike Guard
Classic faction.
Stormpike Guard is the Alliance faction tied to the Alterac Valley battleground, granting reputation through quests, repeatable turn-ins, and participating in battles.
Pick Up Starting Quest
Before entering Alterac Valley for the first time, speak with Lieutenant Rotimer outside the bank in Ironforge to pick up The Sovereign Imperative. This sends you to the entrance tunnel of Alterac Valley at 39.6, 81.3 in Hillsbrad Foothills.
Complete Proving Grounds
After completing The Sovereign Imperative, you will be offered Proving Grounds. Finishing this quest rewards you with Stormpike Insignia Rank 1, which grants a port back to your home base inside the battleground — essential for efficient rep farming runs.
Farm Battles With Hand-Ins
Participate in Alterac Valley battles and combine offense with repeatable item turn-ins toward the end of each match. A effective approach is to push with the group toward Drek, then use your Stormpike Insignia trinket to teleport back to Dun Baldar and complete hand-ins in the final minutes. Starting with Wing Commander Ichman yields 5 to 6 reputation per
Commendation of the Stormpike Guard turned in. Using this method, reaching 3,000 out of 21,000 toward Exalted from zero is achievable within roughly 15 to 18 battles.
Tips
Each time you increase your reputation rank with Stormpike Guard, you unlock a higher-tier Stormpike Insignia, improving your in-battleground utility.
Blending offensive participation with turn-ins at the end of a winning match is faster than focusing solely on one method.
