Darnassus
Classic faction.
Darnassus is a Night Elf faction city located on the world tree of Teldrassil, and you gain reputation by completing quests across Teldrassil, Darkshore, Ashenvale, and Feralas, then finishing with Runecloth turn-ins.
Travel to Darnassus
From Stormwind, fly to Ironforge, then fly to Menethil Harbor in the Wetlands and catch the boat to Auberdine, then catch the second boat to Teldrassil. From Exodar, catch the boat outside the Exodar directly to Auberdine, then catch the boat to Teldrassil. Be aware that walking from Darnassus back to Ironforge can take 20-30 minutes depending on how many enemies you aggro in the Wetlands and Loch Modan.
Complete Teldrassil Quests
Do all available quests in Teldrassil to begin building Darnassus reputation from the start of the zone.
Complete Darkshore Quests
Do all quests in Darkshore, but skip the Gyromast's Retrieval and Absent Minded Prospector quest lines as they are not worth your time for Darnassus reputation.
Complete Ashenvale Quests
Do all quests in Ashenvale, including the quests that send you into Stonetalon Mountains, as these all contribute to Darnassus reputation.
Complete Feathermoon Quests
Do all available quests at Feathermoon, but skip any quests that send you into Dire Maul.
Do Silithid Chain in Gadgetzan
Complete the Silithid quest chain in Gadgetzan. By the time you finish this chain you should be close to Exalted with Darnassus.
Turn In Runecloth
If you still need reputation after completing all the quests above, turn in Runecloth at the Darnassus faction turn-in. It is recommended to do this at level 50, and finishing the quest chains above may leave you needing as few as 15 Runecloth turn-ins to reach Exalted.
Find the Quartermaster
The Darnassus quartermaster, who sells the Darnassus Tabard, is located next to the flightmaster beside the pink portal in Darnassus.
Tips
If you have access to a mage portal or a warlock summon, use it to reach Darnassus, as the boat travel chain from most Alliance cities is lengthy.
Other faction quests that reward a percentage of Darnassus reputation can also be used to close the final gap before Exalted if you run low on Darnassus-specific quests.
