Undercity
Classic faction.
Undercity is the Forsaken capital beneath the ruins of Lordaeron, and building reputation with this faction requires effort from all non-undead Horde races who begin at Neutral rather than Friendly.
Understand Your Starting Reputation
Orc, troll, and tauren characters begin at Neutral with Undercity, making the path to Exalted longer than for Forsaken or Blood Elf characters, who both start at Friendly. This head start for Forsaken and Blood Elves stems from the political ties between the two peoples, rooted in Sylvanas Windrunner's history as a former leader among the elves.
Visit the Undercity Quartermaster
Once you have built sufficient reputation, visit Captain Donald Adams at 56.4, 90.0 in Undercity to browse and purchase faction rewards available at each reputation tier from Friendly through Exalted.
Discover Hidden Undercity Secrets
Invisible ghosts of Lordaeron's former citizens roam the courtyard and can be revealed using a Mage's Invisibility, a Warlock's Detect Invisibility, or certain potions and spells — these are known as Lordaeron Citizens. Additionally, standing in the throne room with your Ambience volume turned up and all other sound options turned off lets you clearly hear the historical dialogue between Arthas and King Terenas, as well as Medivh's speech urging the king to sail west.
Tips
Forsaken and Blood Elf characters begin at Friendly, giving them a full reputation tier advantage over orc, troll, and tauren characters who start at Neutral.
Equipping an Undercity tabard while running Classic dungeons will direct reputation gains toward Undercity, making dungeon grinding one of the most efficient methods to climb from Neutral to Exalted.
