Gnomeregan is a Classic Alliance reputation faction representing the exiled gnomes of Gnomeregan, earned primarily through quests across Alliance zones and dungeon runs with the faction tabard equipped.
Equip the Gnomeregan Tabard
Visit Master Tinker Trini at 55.4, 47.4 in Ironforge to purchase the 
Gnomeregan Tabard, then equip it before running dungeons so all mob kills credit Gnomeregan reputation.
Complete Alliance Zone Quests
Work through quests in Dun Morogh (up to 7, 648 rep), Ironforge (up to 5, 417 rep), Stormwind City (up to 2, 077 rep), and other Alliance zones such as Darkshore, Loch Modan, and Ashenvale to accumulate large amounts of reputation; quests in Draenei starting zones also grant Gnomeregan rep even when not listed explicitly in the quest log.
Farm Dungeons for Fast Rep
With the Gnomeregan Tabard equipped, repeatedly run Utgarde Pinnacle — each full clear yields a minimum of around 2, 200–2,368 reputation, with the three bosses granting 330 reputation each and most mobs granting 16–33 reputation per kill, allowing you to go from Revered to Exalted in approximately 10 runs.
Understand Reputation Tier Rewards
Each reputation tier with Gnomeregan unlocks a vendor discount from Master Tinker Trini at 55.4, 47.4 in Ironforge: Friendly grants a 5% discount, Honored grants 10%, Revered grants 15%, and Exalted grants a 20% discount on all vendors and trainers; additionally, as of patch 3.0.8, all Alliance races can purchase and ride mechanostriders upon reaching Exalted.
Tips
Donating cloth to Alliance faction quartermasters also contributes to Gnomeregan reputation, so completing cloth turn-in quests early helps reduce the total dungeon grinding required.
Gnomeregan reputation is considered one of the most time-consuming Alliance factions to reach Exalted — completing all available Alliance faction quests across every zone before focusing on dungeon grinding is the most efficient path.
