The Defilers is the Horde faction for Arathi Basin in Classic WoW, and reputation is earned by winning and losing matches in the battleground.
Queue Arathi Basin Matches
Each win in Arathi Basin grants 100 reputation with The Defilers, while each loss grants approximately 50 reputation, averaging roughly 75 reputation per game across wins and losses.
Grind Through All Tiers
The total reputation required to reach Exalted is 42,000, broken down as 3,000 (Neutral to Friendly), 6,000 (Friendly to Honored), 12,000 (Honored to Revered), and 21,000 (Revered to Exalted), requiring an estimated 560 games at the average of 75 reputation per game.
Claim Your Exalted Rewards
Upon reaching Exalted, travel to Hammerfall in Arathi Highlands to pick up the quest Take Five Bases, which rewards the 
Battle Tabard of the Defilers. Reaching Exalted with The Defilers also contributes toward the Conqueror title, which requires Exalted standing with Arathi Basin, Warsong Gulch, and Alterac Valley.
Tips
During the Comp Stomp brawl event for Arathi Basin, games last approximately 15 to 20 minutes and award around 750 reputation per win, reducing the total wins needed to roughly 44 games through Honored and Revered.
