Ratchet
Classic faction.
Ratchet is one of the four Steamwheedle Cartel factions in Classic WoW, and reputation is gained primarily by killing pirates at specific locations.
Grind Pirates at Fray Island
Kill pirates at Fray Island at 77, 90 in Northern Barrens. Each pirate kill awards 5 reputation with Ratchet and 2.5 with the other Steamwheedle Cartel factions, up to a cap of 11999/12000 Honored.
Kill Cap'n Garvey for Bonus Rep
Cap'n Garvey on Fray Island awards 25 Ratchet reputation and 12.5 for each of the other Steamwheedle Cartel factions per kill, with a respawn timer of approximately 2 minutes.
Farm Southbreak Shore at Revered
Once you reach Revered with Ratchet, head to Southbreak Shore in Tanaris where pirates continue to award Ratchet reputation toward Exalted.
Tips
The Thanksgiving in-game buff provides a +10% reputation bonus, making Fray Island pirate farming noticeably faster during that event.
