The Ascended is a Shadowlands faction based in Bastion, and you earn reputation with them through world quests, daily quests, and dungeons in the Bastion zone.
Find the Quartermaster
Adjutant Nikos is the quartermaster for The Ascended, located at 52.02, 46.99 in Hero's Rest Sanctuary in the middle of Bastion. A second representative, Adjutant Mikaros, can also be found in The Enclave in Oribos at 47.5, 76.5.
Earn Reputation in Bastion
Complete world quests and daily quests throughout Bastion to earn reputation with The Ascended. Dungeon runs in Bastion-based dungeons also contribute reputation.
Use a Contract to Boost Rep
Inscriptionists can craft 
Contract: The Ascended once they reach Revered, which grants bonus reputation from world quests across all of the Shadowlands zones.
Unlock Rewards by Tier
At Friendly you can purchase nothing notable yet; at Honored, Adjutant Nikos sells gear at item level 164 and 
Technique: Codex of the Still Mind; at Revered he offers 
Memory of the Arbiter's Judgment, Plans: Shadowsteel Helm, Technique: Contract: The Ascended, and 
Aspirant's Stretcher; at Exalted you unlock 
Tabard of the Ascended, 
Illusion: Devoted Spirit, 
Gilded Prowler for 
24,000 gold ( 30,000 gold without a discount), and Schematic: PHA7-YNX.
Farm the Paragon Cache
Once you reach Exalted, additional reputation earned fills a paragon bar that rewards 
Ascended Supplies, which has a chance to contain 
Mark of Purity, 
Malfunctioning Goliath Gauntlet, or 
Larion Cub.
Tips
The Technique: Contract: The Ascended recipe is purchased at Revered, so prioritize reaching that threshold if you want to craft contracts for ongoing reputation gains across Shadowlands world quests.
