Battle for Azeroth faction. Is it just me or does this faction give rep waaaay too slowly? Especially given that it's required for flying.

Rustbolt Resistance is a Battle for Azeroth faction based in Mechagon, required for unlocking flying in that expansion.

1

Complete Daily Quests in Mechagon

Earn reputation each day by completing the available daily quests in Mechagon. Rep gain per quest is modest, so completing every available daily is important — there is roughly an hour or so of content available each day, including gathering robot parts for repeating quests.

2

Watch for the Special Daily Quest

There is a notable daily quest in Mechagon that awards 850 reputation. Completing every quest available each reset day is the most reliable way to accumulate rep toward Honored, Revered, and Exalted.

3

Use a Rustbolt Contract

Have an Inscriptionist craft a Contract: Rustbolt Resistance and apply it to your character. This grants bonus Rustbolt Resistance reputation from world quests completed anywhere in Kul Tiras or Zandalar.

4

Visit the Quartermaster for Rewards

The quartermaster, Stolen Royal Vendorbot, is located at 73.6, 36.4 in Mechagon, near the entrance to the Operation: Mechagon instance portal in the main city. Visit him to purchase rewards as you reach each reputation tier: Friendly, Honored, Revered, and Exalted.

Tips

  • The Contract: Rustbolt Resistance can be purchased from the Auction House if you do not have an Inscriptionist, and applying one is one of the fastest passive ways to supplement daily rep gains.

  • Rustbolt Resistance reputation is character-specific and cannot be shared across alternate characters, so all grinding must be done on the single character that needs flying.
