Sha'tari Defense is a Warlords of Draenor faction tied to defending Shattrath in Talador, requiring a Level 2 Trading Post to begin earning reputation.

1

Unlock Trading Post Level 2

You must have a Trading Post, Level 2 in your garrison before you can earn any reputation with Sha'tari Defense. Without it, kills will not reward any reputation.

2

Farm Orcs in Northern Talador

Head to the northern area of Talador at 41, 42 and kill the orc mobs around Shattrath. Regular mobs award around 4–6 rep per kill, while elite monsters award around 15–18 rep per kill. This area has a very fast respawn timer, making it one of the most efficient spots to farm, yielding roughly 6,000 rep per hour.

3

Kill Rare Spawns for Bonus Rep

There are 11 rare spawns across the harbour and centre areas of Shattrath, each awarding 50 rep per kill. Fly around to tag them at the start of your session so they can respawn while you farm regular mobs. Notable rares include Felfire Consort at 47.8, 33, Gug'tol at 47.6, 39, Haakun the All-Consuming at 48, 25.4, Kurlosh Doomfang at 37.4, 37.4, Lady Demlash at 33.6, 38.2, Legion Vanguard at 38, 20.4, Matron of Sin at 38.8, 49.8, Orumo the Observer at 31.4, 47.6, Strategist Ankor at 47.8, 28.4, Vigilant Paarthos at 42.4, 43.8, Xothear the Destroyer at 37.6, 14.6, and Bombadier Gu'gok at 44.6, 40.6.

4

Use Group and Ability Setup

Farm in a group of 5 players (groups are capped at 5, not 6) with all members using Artillery Strike. Position 3 players at the top of the ramp and 2 in the ditch below so everyone is close enough to share reputation from kills. Note that Artillery Strike may grey out when farming far north in Talador due to garrison ability range restrictions.

5

Use Bear Tartare for Efficiency

When farming at level 110 or above around Shattrath at 41, 42 in Talador, bring Bear Tartare since some mob packs are close enough to sprint between without mounting. You will need to mount and fly between packs as no single area spawns fast enough to stand and spam AoE.

6

Use Loot-A-Rang for Looting

If you want to loot kills while farming, Findle's Loot-A-Rang works in this area for both engineers and non-engineers, allowing you to loot without stopping your farming pace.

7

Farm The Everbloom During Sign of the Emissary

During the Sign of the Emissary bonus event, running The Everbloom dungeon trash resets yields over 4,000 rep per full run, or around 5, 000 rep with a Battle Standard of Coordination. You can reset the instance up to 7 times per hour by skipping all bosses and only killing trash. This event occurs approximately every two months.

8

Visit the Vendor Maaria

The Sha'tari Defense quartermaster Maaria is located in Lunarfall at 33.4, 49.4 where you can browse and purchase faction rewards.

Tips

  • The Sign of the Emissary bonus event only occurs roughly every two months, but a single hour of Everbloom trash resets during it can yield up to 35, 000 rep.

  • Bring a Battle Standard of Coordination to all farming sessions for a reputation bonus on every kill.
