Order of the Cloud Serpent (Blizzard API ID)

Head to The Arboretum in The Jade Forest and speak with Elder Anli to pick up Wild Things, which begins your journey with the Order of the Cloud Serpent and opens up the daily quest hub.

Travel to Windward Isle and find Instructor Tong, who offers Beating the Odds, Empty Nests, and Egg Collection. Once those are turned in, Instructor Tong lets you choose your serpent egg — Blue Serpent Egg for Reins of the Azure Cloud Serpent, Green Serpent Egg for Reins of the Jade Cloud Serpent, or Yellow Serpent Egg for Reins of the Golden Cloud Serpent. You can change your colour choice before handing in the follow-up quest Choosing the One.

Pick up The Rider's Journey and return to The Arboretum with your chosen egg to complete It's A..., which unlocks your personal Cloud Serpent hatchling and opens up the daily quests that grant Order of the Cloud Serpent reputation.

Complete your daily quests each day to build reputation through Friendly, Honored, Revered, and up to Exalted. Additionally, if you have at least 525 skill in any secondary profession, speak with Jenova Longeye in The Arboretum to pick up bonus daily quests: Fragments of the Past (Archaeology), A Feast for the Senses (Cooking), Just a Flesh Wound (First Aid), and Snack Time (Fishing) — each worth 125 reputation, for a possible 500 extra reputation per day. Note that you still need the relevant profession at 525 to complete each quest even though the quests are now available to all players.

Eggs respawn over time, so circuit the island repeatedly to gather as many as possible.

Upon reaching Exalted, you automatically receive your chosen Cloud Serpent mount for free. Visit the quartermaster San Redscale at 56.6, 44.4 in The Jade Forest to purchase the other two Cloud Serpent mounts for 2,100 gold each (with guild perks applied). Reaching Exalted also unlocks three battle pet hatchlings: Wild Crimson Hatchling, Wild Jade Hatchling, and Wild Golden Hatchling.
