The Mud Potadpole is a discovery pet found in Harandar during the Midnight expansion, notorious for its extremely rare spawn and shared spawn with the Azure Sporebat.

Travel to Harandar
Head to Harandar and focus your search around at 69, 32, where the Mud Potadpole has been found by other players. Additional sighting locations cluster around at 69, 20, at 71, 29, at 70, 31, at 69.37, 29.37, and at 94, 31.
Expect a Shared Spawn
The Mud Potadpole shares its spawn with the Azure Sporebat, meaning either creature can appear at the spawn point — if the Azure Sporebat is present, the Mud Potadpole will not be.
Avoid AoE Abilities
The spawn location sits in a high-traffic area where quests, Prey objectives, and herb nodes frequently trigger combat — use single-target abilities only, as the Mud Potadpole can be killed by AoE before you capture it.
Clear Bag Space First
Before attempting a capture, ensure your bags have a free slot — if your bags are full when you capture the Mud Potadpole, it will disappear entirely and will not be mailed to you.
Tips
