Reach Revered with Wardens
Earn Revered reputation with the Wardens faction to unlock the pet for purchase. If you prefer to skip the reputation grind, the pet can also be purchased from the Auction House without needing Revered status or the Legion expansion.
Purchase from Marin Bladewing
Find Marin Bladewing at 48.2, 73.8 in Azsuna and purchase the Fledgling Warden Owl for 
500 Gold.
Collect Owl of the Watchers Buffs
Once you own the pet, summon it and seek out Owl of the Watchers NPCs found at 44.2, 72.4 and 40.6, 73.1 in Azsuna (additional owl locations exist at 40.5, 75.2 and 37.1, 82.2). Click the owls to apply all four colored buffs — blue, red, green, and purple — to your Fledgling Warden Owl. Only 3 owls appear to be active at one time, so check multiple waypoints. Switch to Steady Flight and use a raid marker on your pet's head to track it, as losing sight of it resets your progress. Stay near each owl and click repeatedly until your pet performs its animation before moving on.
Enter Vault of the Wardens
With all four buffs applied, your pet enters a charged state indicated by a glowing ball above its head. Keep your pet summoned and enter Vault of the Wardens on Heroic or Mythic difficulty, then defeat all the bosses.
Carry the Light of Elune
After clearing all bosses, pick up a Light of Elune from the final boss's cave and carry it to the room just before Tirathon Saltheril. An owl will appear alongside four colored orbs — blue, green, red, and purple. Further steps beyond this point are still being researched by the community.
Tips
This is the only owl pet that comes with both Call Darkness and Nocturnal Strike in a high-power breed, making it worth raising for its battle pet moveset.
