Winterborn Runestag
Winterborn runestags are blessed by the Winter Queen herself. Their runes flare brilliantly when predators are nearby, warning the entire herd.
Acquisition Guide
The Winterborn Runestag is a random drop from Night Fae activities in Ardenweald, available to Night Fae covenant members.
Join Night Fae Covenant
You must be a member of the Night Fae covenant to obtain this mount. Being Exalted with the Court of Night alone does not grant access to Night Fae rewards or vendors.
Upgrade Your Sanctum
Upgrade everything to level 3 in your Night Fae Sanctum first, as this significantly improves your anima gains from daily activities.
Farm Anima Daily
Kill large rares, open chests, complete mushroom quests, world quests, or run Mythic+ dungeons in Ardenweald — this can yield between 2,000 and 4,000 anima per day from these combined activities.
Check Spindlenose Vendor
Visit Spindlenose at 59.4, 52.8 in Ardenweald to browse available Night Fae mount rewards. Note that items such as Umbral Scythehorn, Willowbreeze, Stemmins, and Chronicle of Lost Memories are purchasable here, but only for Night Fae covenant members.
