Acquisition Guide

TomTom waypoints(2)

The Vile Fiend is a mount that drops from Houndmaster Kerrax, a rare spawn located in the Antoran Wastes zone introduced in the Legion expansion.

1

Travel to Antoran Wastes

Head to the Antoran Wastes and navigate to the entrance of Houndmaster Kerrax's area at 63.1, 25.2 in Antoran Wastes.

2

Locate Houndmaster Kerrax

Find Houndmaster Kerrax at 63.2, 23.6 in Antoran Wastes. He is a rare spawn, so he may not be present immediately upon arrival.

3

Defeat Houndmaster Kerrax

Defeat Houndmaster Kerrax to have a chance at receiving the Vile Fiend mount. He only yields loot once per day per character, so if he does not drop the mount, return the following day.

4

Track Daily Kill Status

To check whether you have already looted Houndmaster Kerrax during the current reset, use the following macro in-game: /run for k,v in pairs({Hound=48821,Blistermaw=49183,Vrax'thul=48810,Puscilla=48809,Skreeg=48721,Wrangler=48695}) do print(format("%s: %s", k, C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(v) and "Completed" or "Not Completed")) end

Tips

  • Houndmaster Kerrax is part of the Adventurer of Argus and Commander of Argus achievements, so defeating him counts toward those as well.
