Acquisition Guide

The Horde Vicious Lightbloom Boar is the red Horde-armored version of the luminous boar awarded from the Midnight Season 2 rated-PvP seasonal reward track. Reach 1,000 current rating and fill the Vicious Mount bar with rated wins during Season 2.

Enter Midnight Season 2

Confirm the Rated PvP panel identifies Midnight Season 2. Use a Horde character and open Group Finder → Player vs. Player → Rated; only wins credited to Season 2 advance its mount bar.

Reach at least 1,000 rating

Raise current rating to Combatant level or higher in an eligible rated bracket. Progress is based on current rating, so wins stop advancing the mount bar whenever rating falls below 1,000.

Win rated matches

Win Rated Arena, Rated Battleground, Battleground Blitz, or another bracket shown as eligible in the live rewards panel. Watch the Vicious Mount percentage after each win because bracket values differ and Blizzard can tune them.

Claim the displayed Season 2 reward

At 100%, claim exactly what the live Rated panel displays. Blizzard's overview describes a Vicious Saddle exchange for the Lightbloom Boar; if the bar gives you a Saddle instead of the mount directly, follow the token tooltip to the Combatant Mount Quartermaster and choose the Horde Lightbloom Boar rather than spending it on an older mount. The progress bar—not a separate achievement ID—is the source.

Check the account collection

Search Collections for Vicious Lightbloom Boar and verify the Horde-armored entry on a Horde character. The account-wide reward uses faction-appropriate collection appearances, so switch factions before treating a differently colored journal entry as missing.

Tips

  • Rated losses do not remove completed bar progress, but they can lower rating below the qualifying threshold.

  • The two mounts share a name but have different faction armor and Blizzard mount IDs.
