Acquisition Guide

The Alliance Vicious Lightbloom Boar is the blue-and-gold faction-armored version of the luminous boar awarded from the Midnight Season 2 rated-PvP seasonal reward track. You must first reach 1,000 current rating, then win eligible rated matches to fill the seasonal Vicious Mount progress bar.

Enter the correct PvP season

Confirm the Rated PvP panel shows Midnight Season 2. Log an Alliance character and open Group Finder → Player vs. Player → Rated; only wins credited to Season 2 fill its mount bar.

Reach Combatant rating

Earn at least 1,000 current rating in an eligible rated bracket. The Vicious progress bar remains inactive below 1,000, so climb back above the threshold if losses lower your current rating.

Fill the Vicious Mount bar

Win eligible Rated Arena, Rated Battleground, Battleground Blitz, or other brackets shown by the live PvP panel while at 1,000+ rating. Different brackets award different progress; use the percentage displayed in the Rated PvP rewards panel rather than assuming every win gives equal credit.

Claim the displayed Season 2 reward

Continue until the first seasonal Vicious Mount bar reaches 100%. Claim exactly what the live Rated panel displays. Blizzard's Season 2 overview describes a Vicious Saddle exchange for the Lightbloom Boar, while the usual seasonal panel can deliver the current mount directly; if a Saddle enters your bags, follow its tooltip to the Combatant Mount Quartermaster and select the Lightbloom Boar instead of an older mount. There is no separate achievement ID to chase.

Verify the faction appearance

Search Collections → Mounts for Vicious Lightbloom Boar. The account-wide reward displays the Alliance-armored or Horde-armored collection entry appropriate to the character you are viewing, so check on the intended faction before assuming delivery failed.

Tips

  • Only wins earned while your current rating is at least 1,000 advance the bar.

  • The Alliance appearance uses Alliance armor; the Horde entry is a separate collection row.
