Squawks

Guess why he's called that? It's not because he's a nice, quiet pet.

Acquisition Guide

Squawks is a parrot mount obtained as a random drop from the Island Expedition end-of-run reward chest in Battle for Azeroth.

1

Run Island Expeditions

Squawks can drop on all difficulties, at any level, and even if you lose the expedition. Focus your runs on the confirmed maps: Dire Mire, Skittering Hollows, Verdant Wilds, and Molten Clay.

2

Target Pirates Specifically

During expeditions, prioritize killing pirates, completing pirate invasions, and looting pirate chests, as these are confirmed tasks that give Squawks a chance to drop.

3

Loot Guarded Chests

Loot all chests that have a rare mob or enemy guarding them, and complete all invasion types you encounter during each expedition run.

4

Buy Crestfall Salvage Weekly

Captain Kitt (Horde) or Captain Nightrunner (Alliance), located near the Island Expedition Map Table, each sell up to 3 salvage boxes per week for 175 Seafarer's Dubloons each. The Crestfall Salvage box has a chance to contain Squawks.

5

Use Treasure Maps

Squawks can also be obtained via a Treasure Map reward, such as Treasure Map: Molten Mayhem, which can drop during expedition runs.

Tips

  • The Skittering Hollow Salvage box also has a confirmed chance to contain Squawks.
