Shadowbarb Drone

Head to Uldum and start the Shadowbarb Drone quest chain at 21, 62. No item with a low drop rate is required to begin — you can start the chain immediately without any prerequisite farming.

Work through the static daily quest chain at 21, 62 in Uldum. Unlike older mount grinds such as the Reins of the Winterspring Frostsaber, each day progresses a fixed step rather than repeating the same daily quest due to RNG.

As you progress through the chain, you will earn intermediate rewards including a toy and a pet such as Child of Torcali, making the multi-day grind feel rewarding before the mount is obtained.

After enough days of completing the quest chain at 21, 62 in Uldum, a quest to craft the saddle will become available, marking the final stage before receiving the Shadowbarb Drone. Note that completion timing can vary between players even when following identical steps.
