Primeval Skyfriend

Complete the Patch 12.1 Coiled Isle introduction and reach level 90. Enter the Vaults through 43.3,44.2, 45.4,65.9, or 31.8, 64.9 on Coiled Isle map 2512, then travel to The Venomous Abyss entrance at 47.2, 21.7 on Vaults map 2509.

Form or join a Mythic raid capable of clearing the eight-boss instance during Midnight Season 2. Story, Raid Finder, Normal, and Heroic Ula'tek kills are not the published mount source. Ask how the group will distribute its three copies before accepting the lockout.

Defeat Nek'zali, Entombed Sentinels, The Lost Explorers, Vashnik, Sszorak, The Twin Fangs, and The Coiled Altar. After the first boss the raid branches into two wings; both must be cleared before the final sequence opens.

Kill Ula'tek on Mythic while loot-eligible. Follow the raid leader's strategy for Caustic Wingfall waves, Devourer's Spawn and Doomscale Wardens, and preserve the shrinking safe space in the final stage; the mount source requires the completed Mythic kill.

A completed Mythic Ula'tek kill drops three Primeval Skyfriend copies for the raid. Follow the group's stated roll, loot-council, or guild-priority rules; three copies does not mean every eligible player receives one. The Great Vault is not a substitute source. Blizzard's announcement does not settle Voidcore bonus-roll eligibility, so trust the live boss-loot interface instead of assuming it provides another mount attempt.

If other raiders receive the three available copies, return on a later eligible Mythic lockout. Blizzard publishes a fixed three-per-kill raid drop, not personal bad-luck protection or a guaranteed copy after a stated number of clears.

Use the awarded item and verify Primeval Skyfriend in Collections. Its primeval troll-bird model is distinct from the unassigned Skyfriend color variants datamined alongside it.
