Acquisition Guide

The Lord of the Corpseflies is obtained by hatching a Small Corpsefly Egg, which has a chance to drop from the rare spawn event Fleshwing at 56.27, 66.13 in Korthia, and requires membership in the Necrolords covenant.

Join the Necrolords Covenant

You must be a member of The Undying Army (Necrolords) covenant before farming this mount. The Small Corpsefly Egg will not drop for characters belonging to other covenants.

Find and Defeat Fleshwing

Travel to the rare spawn event Fleshwing at 56.27, 66.13 in Korthia. This is a daily farmable kill, meaning you get one attempt per character per day for a chance at the Small Corpsefly Egg.

Check Your Bags Carefully

The game does not display a loot notification when the Small Corpsefly Egg drops into your bags, so manually check your inventory after each kill to confirm whether you received it.

Wait for the Egg to Hatch

Once you have the Small Corpsefly Egg, wait 3 days for it to hatch into the Hatching Corpsefly Egg, which then rewards you with the Lord of the Corpseflies mount.

Tips

This is one of 8 mounts added in patch 9.1 Chains of Domination that can be farmed on a daily basis, so running multiple Necrolord characters increases your daily attempts.
