Acquisition Guide

The Lambent Mana Ray is a mount that drops from Venomtail Skyfin, a rare spawn located in Eredath on Argus during the Legion expansion.

1

Travel to Eredath

Head to Eredath (also known as Mac'aree) on Argus and locate Venomtail Skyfin at 33.8, 47.4. This rare mob is the only source of the Lambent Mana Ray mount.

2

Kill Venomtail Skyfin Daily

Defeat Venomtail Skyfin at 33.8, 47.4 in Mac'aree. This rare can only be looted once per day per character, so farming across multiple characters each day is the most efficient approach.

3

Track Daily Kill Status

Use the following macro to check whether Venomtail Skyfin has already been killed on your character today: /run for k,v in pairs({Venomtail=48705}) do print(format("%s: %s", k, C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(v) and "|cFFFF0000Completed|r" or "|cFF00FF00Not Completed|r")) end

Tips

  • Farming on multiple characters simultaneously increases the number of daily attempts since each character gets one loot opportunity per day.
