Lab-grown Stormray

Reach the Voidstorm and progress the Singularity to the Research Console unlock. At Howling Ridge, speak with Void Researcher Anomander at 52.6, 72.9 and complete Researching the Storm by communing with the console and processing the first Uncontaminated Void Sample.

Return to Anomander for Research Console: Exploring the Void and complete its current Voidstorm objectives. The weekly quest supplies further Uncontaminated Void Samples; keep checking the quest reward rather than assuming ordinary mobs or an unrelated cache will always contain one.

Each console node costs one Uncontaminated Void Sample. Research a connected path toward the bottom through either Defense Network or Forward Positions. You need a valid route to Wings of the Void, not both parallel branches and not every optional node, even though Staring Into The Void says to fully unlock the console.

Select the final Wings of the Void node once its prerequisite path is complete. This exact node is the sole criterion shown by Staring Into The Void and triggers the achievement; merely holding enough samples or unlocking the adjacent node does not award the mount.

Wait several minutes after the achievement, change zones or relog once, and check your mailbox if the mount item is not immediately in your bags or collection. A previous bug placed a Wings of the Void spell in the General spellbook, but Blizzard hotfixed that behavior; mail is the intended fallback delivery.

Use the Lab-grown Stormray item and search Collections → Mounts for its exact hyphenated name. Its appearance is a red lab-grown stormray; Voidbound Stormray is a different Singularity reward and does not satisfy this collection entry.
