The Highland Mustang is an Alliance-only mount that drops from the rare NPC Doomrider Helgrim in the Arathi Highlands zone during the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

Wait for Alliance Warfront Control

The Highland Mustang is only obtainable when Alliance controls the Arathi Highlands warfront. Doomrider Helgrim only spawns and is accessible to Alliance players during this phase, and resets after each warfront faction control switch cycle.

Locate Doomrider Helgrim

Travel to the Go'Shek Farm subzone in Arathi Highlands and find the rare NPC Doomrider Helgrim at 53.97, 56.96.

Defeat and Loot Doomrider Helgrim

Defeat Doomrider Helgrim at 52.4, 57.6 in Arathi Highlands and loot the Highland Mustang mount from the corpse. Learning this mount also teaches you the Broken Highland Mustang, which can be used by Horde characters.
