Acquisition Guide

TomTom waypoints(2)

The Dune Scavenger is a Battle for Azeroth mount taught by the Captured Dune Scavenger, which drops from Sethrak mobs in Vol'dun and is Bind on Use, meaning it can be sold on the Auction House or traded to other players.

1

Travel to Vol'dun

Head to Vol'dun and make your way to The Serpent's Maw near Vulpera Hideaway, where Sethrak mobs have a chance to drop the Captured Dune Scavenger. The drop chance appears to be low, and any mob in the zone may drop it.

2

Farm the Daily Quest Area

At 33, 60 in Vol'dun, a daily quest spawns a large number of mobs continuously, all of which can drop the mount — farm this location nonstop while the daily quest is active for maximum efficiency.

3

Farm the Fast Respawn Spot

At 55, 40 in Vol'dun, a cluster of Sethrak mobs respawns almost instantly, making it a reliable location to chain-kill enemies and maximize your chances of seeing the Captured Dune Scavenger drop.

Tips

  • The Captured Dune Scavenger is Bind on Use, so if you already have the mount, you can sell it on the Auction House or trade it directly to another player.

  • The drop at 33, 60 is tied to a daily quest that spawns unlimited mobs, so prioritize farming that location on days when the daily is available.
