The Lab-grown Stormray is earned by fully unlocking the Research Console in Voidstorm, which completes the 'Staring Into The Void' achievement and requires collecting 7 Void Samples across approximately 3 weeks.
Collect Your First Sample
You receive 1 Uncontaminated Void Sample automatically when you begin progressing the Void Research Console in Voidstorm.
Complete Weekly Quests
Each week, earn 1 Void Sample by completing the weekly quest given by Void Researcher Anomander, located next to the Research Console in Voidstorm, and earn another from the Weekly Cache by completing the Stormarion Assault.
Unlock All 7 Nodes
After 3 weeks you will have all 7 Void Samples needed to fully unlock the Research Console, completing the 'Staring Into The Void' achievement — be sure to select the Wings of the Void node in the console, as this triggers the mount reward.
Claim Via Wings of the Void
Open your spellbook and use the Wings of the Void ability; this places the Lab-grown Stormray mount item directly into your bag, which you can then right-click to learn.
