Acquisition Guide
The Escaped Witherbark Pango is a mount that drops from rare creatures in the Zul'Aman outdoor zone in the Midnight expansion.
Unlock Zul'Aman Access
On any fresh alt, choose the 'skip' option when speaking with Liadrin at the start of the Midnight adventure to bypass the intro. This immediately unlocks portals to both Voidstorm and Harandar, and you can begin farming rares in Zul'Aman as soon as you port into Silvermoon without completing any additional questing.
Kill All Nine Rares
Each of the nine rares in Zul'Aman has a chance to drop the Escaped Witherbark Pango. The rares are: Necrohexxer Raz'ka at 34.39, 33.04 (drops 
Pendant of Siphoned Vitality), Skullcrusher Harak at 51.6, 72.6 (drops 
Harak's Skullcutter), Mrrlokk at 50.86, 65.17 (drops 
Mrrlokk's Mrgl Grrdle), Spinefrill at 30.47, 44.56 (drops 
Frilly Leather Vest), Tiny Vermin at 47.81, 34.44 (drops 
Leechtooth Band), The Devouring Invader at 39.59, 20.97 (drops 
Lost Idol of the Hash'ey), Depthborn Eelamental at 47.69, 20.51 (drops 
Strangely Eelastic Blade), Ash'an the Empowered at 45.28, 41.71 (drops 
Warcloak of the Butcher), and The Snapping Scourge at 51.81, 18.65 (drops 
Drum of Renewed Bonds).
Farm Multiple Characters
The drop rate is low — one player reported over 900 kills before the mount dropped, ultimately receiving it from The Snapping Scourge on a level 80 alt. Running the rares on multiple alts each day is a viable strategy, since alts that have completed the main campaign can use the intro skip to access Zul'Aman immediately.
Tips
Each rare also has a chance to drop the
Amani Sharptalon mount, so all nine rares are worth killing on every visit.Characters that have already killed all rares once that week can still receive the mount drop on subsequent kills.
