Acquisition Guide
The Contained Stormarion Defender is a mount that drops from the Victorious Stormarion Cache earned by completing the Stormarion Assault event in Voidstorm, with two attempts available per character per week.
Travel to Voidstorm
Head to the Stormarion Assault event location in Voidstorm. You can speak with Void Researcher Anomander at 52.4, 72.8 in Voidstorm for reference.
Complete the Stormarion Assault
Finish the Stormarion Assault event to open your first Victorious Stormarion Cache of the week. The world quest version of the cache does not appear until after you have completed the event at least once.
Complete the World Quest Cache
After finishing the event, the world quest version becomes available, granting a second Victorious Stormarion Cache per week. The mount can drop from the world quest purple cache, giving you two chances per character each week.
Farm on Multiple Characters
Each character on your account can complete the event and world quest twice per week, so running the assault on multiple alts significantly increases your total attempts. One player reported obtaining the mount within 15 to 20 total attempts.
Tips
The mount has been confirmed to drop for characters as low as level 80.
