Void-Scarred Pack Mother
Fighting her corrupted handlers this pack mother freed herself and her pups. However, freedom from their handlers did not free them from the void in this lost place. She taught her pups to be even more dangerous beasts, and they now stalk throughout Orgrimmar fetching her food as all compete to survive.
Acquisition Guide
The Void-Scarred Pack Mother is a rare NPC spawned through a mini-puzzle inside the Vision of Orgrimmar, and defeating it has a chance to drop the Void-Scarred Pack Mother mount.
Equip At Least One Mask
Before attempting the puzzle, equip at least one Mask inside the Vision of Orgrimmar. Without an active Mask, the Wolf Rider item spawns will not be visible or interactable.
Grab the Bag of Wolf Tack
Head to the Valley of Wisdom and find the Bag of Wolf Tack at 39.17, 49.58, located beside the main tent building behind the Voidcrazed Hulk. Loot it to gain the first stack of Tattered Wolf Rider Gear.
Grab the Worn Wolf Saddle
Travel to the Valley of Honor and enter the Auction House building. The Worn Wolf Saddle is at 67.39, 36.19, found on the ground to the right as you enter, between the crates near the auctioneer. Loot it to gain the second stack of Tattered Wolf Rider Gear.
Interact With the Wolf Skin Rug
With two stacks of Tattered Wolf Rider Gear, head to the Leatherworking shop in the Drag and interact with the Wolf Skin Rug at 60.92, 55.05, which is inside the hut. This spawns the Void-Scarred Pack Mother.
Defeat Void-Scarred Pack Mother
Slay the Void-Scarred Pack Mother. Note that the mount drops for only one player per group per kill, so coordinate with others in your group if applicable.
Tips
Clear each building quickly on your way through the vision without engaging area bosses to save time reaching the required locations.
The interactable Wolf Skin Rug is inside the Leatherworking hut, not outside.
