Acquisition Guide
The Void-Forged Stallion is a mount added in patch 11.1.5 with the Horrific Visions revisited, obtained by collecting 4 horseshoes across the Vision of Stormwind and using them at a forge in the Dwarven District to summon and slay a rare.
Queue for Vision of Stormwind
Queue for the Vision of Stormwind from Dornogal. This mount is only available when Vision of Stormwind is the active vision — if Vision of Orgrimmar is the current week's vision, wait until the following week.
Equip at Least One Mask
Before entering, equip at least 1 mask. The horseshoes will not appear anywhere in the vision unless you have a mask equipped. The Mask of Dark Imagination is a solid choice since the adds it spawns are manageable.
Collect the Cathedral Horseshoe
Head to the Cathedral area at 56.06, 55.47 and grab the horseshoe from the planter in front of the cathedral in the southeast.
Collect the Old Town Horseshoe
Travel to Old Town at 75.58, 56.79 and pick up the horseshoe there. You do not need to complete any zone missions — just grab the horseshoe and move on.
Collect the Trade District Horseshoe
Head to the Trade District at 61.54, 75.57 and collect the horseshoe. Exit the Cathedral area to the south and cross the bridge at 56, 56 to reach this area efficiently.
Collect the Mage Quarter Horseshoe
Travel to the Mage Quarter at 50.97, 84.05 and pick up the fourth and final horseshoe. Your buff should now read 4.
Use the Forge in Dwarven District
Head to the Dwarven District at 62.93, 37.09 and find the forge in the corner. Deposit all 4 horseshoes into the forge to summon the rare. Defeat it, then loot the mount directly from the body — it will NOT be mailed to you if you forget to loot it.
