Void-Scarred Gryphon
Abandoned by its trainers the Void-Scarred Gryphon scrounged on any scrap of food that remained, most corrupted by the void. With the void now sustaining them, they only land when their fickle tastes are satisfied by untainted food that they just remember enjoying.
Acquisition Guide
The Void-Scarred Gryphon is obtained by summoning and killing a rare gryphon inside a Vision of Stormwind run by placing the correct food in a bowl in the Trade District.
Enter Vision of Stormwind
Run a Vision of Stormwind with a minimum of 2 masks active. You do not need to complete the Trade District to get the mount, but you must go there.
Read the First Ripped Note
Head to the Trade District and find the first Ripped Note at 65.65, 71.61, located to the right of the small well near the path leading up to the Inquisitor mini-boss. This note tells you whether the food type should be Raw or Cooked.
Read the Second Ripped Note
After the mini-boss, find the second Ripped Note at 68.63, 73.34 at the top of the stairs. This note tells you which category of food to use: Fish, Fungus, Spiced Meat, or Steak.
Prepare the Correct Food
Cross-reference both notes to determine the exact food item needed. Raw options are: 
Fresh Fillet (Fish), 
Chopped Mycobloom (Fungus), 
Spiced Meat Stock (Spiced Meat), and 
Portioned Steak (Steak). Cooked options are: 
Skewered Fillet (Fish), 
Roasted Mycobloom (Fungus), 
Simple Stew (Spiced Meat), and 
Unseasoned Field Steak (Steak). Bringing all 8 items before entering is recommended, as placing the wrong food spawns rats and forces you to restart the run.
Place Food in the Bowl
Go to the bowl at 67.78, 73.26, click it, add the correct food item, click the bowl again, and select Rattle the Bowl. The Void-Scarred Gryphon rare will appear within roughly 20 seconds — kill it and loot the mount.
Tips
All 8 food items are tradeable and can be purchased from the Auction House before entering the vision, saving time inside the run.
Note 1 at 65.65, 71.61 tells you Raw or Cooked; Note 2 at 68.63, 73.34 tells you the food category — you need both before using the bowl at 67.78, 73.26.
