Acquisition Guide
The Spring Butterfly is a Love is in the Air world event mount that has a chance to drop from the 
Heart-Shaped Box, awarded once per day (per Battle.net account) for defeating Apothecary Hummel in the Crown Chemical Co. dungeon.
Queue for the dungeon
Open the group finder and queue for the Crown Chemical Co. dungeon. You must be at least level 10 to be eligible for the Heart-Shaped Box.
Grab the potions
Before engaging, pick up the potions from the table inside the dungeon — these reduce damage from one of the bosses and make the fight easier on lower-level characters.
Defeat Apothecary Hummel
Kill Apothecary Hummel to receive the Heart-Shaped Box; only your first kill of the day counts toward the mount drop, and the drop chance increases each consecutive day you defeat him.
Multiply chances with starter accounts
You can run up to 4 additional starter accounts alongside your main account — all 5 in the same party and instance — giving you 5 separate first-kill Heart-Shaped Box chances per day since the box is awarded account-wide per Battle.net account.
Note the final day window
The event ends on 23rd February 2026 at 10:00 AM, but the dungeon's daily reset is at 6:00 AM, leaving a four-hour window to claim your final attempt of the event.
Tips
The Love is in the Air event runs from 9th February 2026 at 10:00 AM to 23rd February 2026 at 10:00 AM, giving a maximum of 15 daily attempts.
If the boss is proving difficult, swap to a tank or a high item-level character, or try on a level 10 character as they benefit from slightly better scaling in the dungeon.
