Acquisition Guide
The Grotto Netherwing Drake is a Dragonriding mount obtained by completing the Dragon Keeping quest in the Emerald Dream zone, available during the Misfit Dragons storyline.
Travel to Emerald Dream
Head to the Emerald Dream zone, which became accessible in patch 10.2.
Complete Dragon Keeping Quest
Pick up and complete the Dragon Keeping quest, which goes active during the week of November 14 as part of the Misfit Dragons storyline in the Emerald Dream.
Claim Your Mount Reward
Upon completing the Dragon Keeping quest, the Grotto Netherwing Drake is awarded directly as the quest reward. Note that the mount's default color displays as Purple in patch 10.2.
Tips
The Grotto Netherwing Drake's mount ID is 1744, which you can use in a Dragonriding mount summon macro by replacing the ID in:
