Zenet Hatchling
The hardest winds begin with a gust and a flap.
Acquisition Guide
The
Zenet Hatchling hatches from a
Zenet Egg that drops at 100% from Zenet Avis, a rare elite flying in circles over a hill in Ohn'ahran Plains, with the egg taking 7 days to hatch after looting.
Locate Zenet Avis
Head to Zenet Avis at 31.51, 64.01 in Ohn'ahran Plains. He flies in large, high circles above the hilltop, so fly up close to him to pull aggro and bring him down to fight.
Use Hunt Groups in LFG
Zenet Avis has a respawn timer rumoured between 3 and 8 hours, but when a Hunt event is active in Ohn'ahran Plains, use the LFG tool to join Hunt groups and phase-hop at 31.45, 63.92 until you find a group where Zenet Avis is up.
Kill and Loot the Egg
Defeat Zenet Avis — the Zenet Egg drops at 100% for all players in the group, and the body can still be looted if you are away when he dies.
Wait 7 Days to Hatch
Once you have the Zenet Egg in your bags, wait 7 days for it to hatch into the Zenet Hatchling mount.
Tips
Zenet Avis is part of the Adventurer of the Ohn'ahran Plains and That's Pretty Neat! achievements, so the kill counts toward both.
The Zenet Egg is a personal loot item, meaning all group members who tag Zenet Avis receive their own egg at 100% drop rate.
