Plainswalker Bearer

The mammoths of the Ohn'ahran Plains are unaccustomed to carrying people, as their centaur neighbors do not typically ride mounts. They can learn to bear riders, however. Some even do so enthusiastically.

Acquisition Guide

The Plainswalker Bearer is a mount obtained from the Grand Hunt Spoils, the epic version rewarded for completing your first Grand Hunt event each week in the Dragon Isles.

1

Reach Renown 5 with Maruuk Centaur

Grand Hunt events are unlocked at Renown Rank 5 with the Maruuk Centaur, the major faction of Ohn'ahran Plains. This renown unlock is account-wide, so once reached on any character, all your characters can participate in Grand Hunts.

2

Locate an Active Grand Hunt

Grand Hunts cycle through different Dragon Isles zones and are marked on the zone maps. Head to whichever zone is currently hosting a Grand Hunt and complete the event.

3

Earn Your Weekly Epic Spoils

The Plainswalker Bearer can only drop from the epic Grand Hunt Spoils, which is awarded only for your first Grand Hunt completion per character per week. The drop chance is low, estimated around 1–5%.

4

Farm with Multiple Characters

Because the renown unlock is account-wide, you can bring alts — even characters as low as level 60 or 61 with no Maruuk Centaur renown of their own — to complete a Grand Hunt once per week and earn additional chances at the mount. The mount can also be obtained and learned by characters below level 70.

Tips

  • Trial characters can currently receive Grand Hunt Spoils, though whether the mount can drop for them has not been fully confirmed.
