Acquisition Guide
Grimhowl is a wolf mount rewarded from a questchain starting with The Anvil-Thane's Designs, completed inside Blackrock Depths by a Dark Iron Dwarf who has earned the Heritage of the Dark Iron achievement.
Check Character Requirements
You must be on a Dark Iron Dwarf at level 50 or higher who personally earned the Heritage of the Dark Iron achievement by leveling from scratch — race-changed or boosted characters do not qualify, and the quests must be completed on the same character that earned the achievement.
Travel to Shadowforge City
Open your general spell tab and use your Mole Machine, then select Eastern Kingdoms followed by Shadowforge City to travel directly into Blackrock Depths.
Pick Up The Anvil-Thane's Designs
From your arrival point, turn around, walk forward, head upstairs, and follow the path on the right side without jumping down to reach the quest starting point for The Anvil-Thane's Designs.
Complete the Grim Guzzler Brawl
Locate the NPC in the Grim Guzzler, click her dialogue, select "brawl", and defeat the Risen Ghoul in the fight.
Kill Boiling Flamebringer
Go down from the Grim Guzzler and kill Boiling Flamebringer to obtain the 
Boiling Flamecore.
Collect Darkforged Ingots
Return to the ramp you came from and collect 5 
Darkforged Ingots, which are scattered across the large marked area near the Warbringer Constructs.
Reach Kasea Angerforge
Follow the path until you reach Kasea Angerforge and ask her for the 
Flamepoint Engraver to continue the questchain.
Complete the Questchain for Grimhowl
Finish the remaining steps of the questchain to receive Grimhowl's Face Axe, which teaches you the Grimhowl mount — note that the mount is currently only ridable by Dark Iron Dwarves.
