Acquisition Guide
The Colossal Ebonclaw Mawrat is a mount rewarded by completing the 'The Jailer's Gauntlet: Layer 4' achievement in Shadowlands.
Enter the Jailer's Gauntlet
Queue into the Jailer's Gauntlet and progress through the layers until you reach Layer 4, collecting Anima powers as you go.
Prioritize Chelonian Crest Anima
Look for the Anima power called Chelonian Crest first, as it increases the duration of Aspect of the Turtle and allows you to use all abilities while protected by it — a key survival tool for clearing Layer 4.
Stack Defensive Anima Powers
After Chelonian Crest, prioritize Death's Rest (resets cooldown on all aspects), then Craven Stratagem (reduces Feign Death cooldown by 15 seconds). With two stacks of Chelonian Crest or Craven Stratagem, you can maintain near-unlimited uptime on Aspect of the Turtle.
Complete Layer 4
Finish all floors of Layer 4 to earn the achievement and receive the Colossal Ebonclaw Mawrat. Note that this mount cannot be used in the Maw.
