Liberated Slyvern
It's difficult to tell because it's far too angry, but this slyvern is actually glad it's not owned by gnolls anymore.
Acquisition Guide
The Liberated Slyvern is a mount obtained from the Reins of the Liberated Slyvern, which drops from Breezebiter, a rare spawn found in The Azure Span during the Dragonflight expansion.
Travel to Traitor's Rest
Head to Traitor's Rest in The Azure Span, located east of the Iskaara Tuskarr camp. Breezebiter spawns at 26.08, 46.4 and flies a patrol loop westward through the nearby forest clearing.
Locate and Pull Breezebiter
Breezebiter flies in a circle and can be pulled near the mountain or the large fallen tree in the area. A second pull location is available at 27, 48.4 if needed.
Kill Breezebiter Repeatedly
Breezebiter has no daily or weekly lockout, so the kill can be repeated on the same character as many times as needed. The drop rate averages roughly 5–30 kills for most players, though some have required over 269 kills, placing the rate well under 1%.
Track Respawn Timing
Breezebiter's respawn timer is approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 50 minutes between kills, based on logged kill times recorded at Traitor's Rest.
Tips
Breezebiter has no lockout of any kind, so farming on a single character is the most straightforward approach.
The respawn window ranges from roughly 1 hour to 1 hour 50 minutes, so leaving and returning to Traitor's Rest on that schedule is an efficient use of time.
