The Scarlet Helicid is a Protoform Synthesis mount crafted in Zereth Mortis after finding and learning its schematic.
Unlock Protoform Synthesis Forge
Complete the first three chapters of the Secrets of the First Ones campaign, research at the cypher console in Exile's Hollow, then complete the questline starting at Finding Tahli. The following day, a new questline becomes available that leads to unlocking the Protoform Synthesis Forge, located at 61.2, 58.9 in Zereth Mortis.
Collect the Scarlet Helicid Schematic
Travel to Antecedent Isle and find the Schematic: Scarlet Helicid at 47.7, 9.5. Look for the large arc straight ahead from the teleport point — the schematic sits near the top of that arc, next to where a pillar connects to it.
Learn the Schematic at the Forge
Bring the Schematic: Scarlet Helicid to the Protoform Repository at 61.2, 58.9 to learn the crafting recipe.
Gather the Three Crafting Materials
You need 350 Genesis Motes, which drop from mobs throughout Zereth Mortis; 1 Revelation Key, which drops from Protector of the First Ones; and 1 Helicid Lattice, which drops from helicid mobs such as Overgrown Helicid, Accelerated Helicid, and Pureshell Helicid. The crafting location is at 70, 28.6 in Zereth Mortis.
Craft the Scarlet Helicid
Return to the Protoform Synthesis Forge at 61.2, 58.9 with all three materials to craft and add the Scarlet Helicid at 47.66, 9.63 to your mount collection.
