Acquisition Guide

Buzz is a Vespoid mount crafted via the Protoform Synthesis system in Zereth Mortis, requiring you to first find Schematic: Buzz from the Pulp-Covered Relic treasure chest.

Unlock Protoform Synthesis Forge

Complete the first three chapters of the Secrets of the First Ones campaign, then research at the cypher console in Exile's Hollow and complete the questline starting at Finding Tahli. The following day, a new questline becomes available that ultimately unlocks the Protoform Synthesis forge.

Find Schematic: Buzz

Search Zereth Mortis for the Pulp-Covered Relic, a randomly spawning treasure chest. The drop is not guaranteed, so check all known spawn points: at 42.01, 34.2, at 53.42, 25.81, at 52.81, 45.8, at 50.35, 41.21, and at 64.36, 63.43.

Collect Reagents in Zereth Mortis

Gather 500 Genesis Motes, which drop throughout Zereth Mortis, then bring the schematic and reagents to the Protoform Synthesis Forge to craft Buzz.

Tips

  • Buzz is one of four Vespoid mounts craftable from the Protoform Synthesis system, so the schematic hunt applies to the others as well if you want to collect the set.
