The charger's screams echo across the Maw as it continues a never-ending ride across the land, forever looking for escape from the endless torments it has been forced to endure.
Acquisition Guide
The Fallen Charger mount drops from the Fallen Charger rare spawn in The Maw, with approximately a 15% drop chance following a hotfix that tripled the original drop rate.
Travel to The Maw
Head to The Maw and position yourself near the primary spawn point at 16.27, 49.49. The Fallen Charger rare spawns on a roughly 1-hour respawn timer, and the zone will depopulate after about 15 minutes of no players — portal in to trigger it to come back up.
Identify the Assault Type
The Fallen Charger's spawn location changes depending on which assault is currently active. During a Necrolord Assault, it spawns near the Altar of Domination at 27.9, 62.9. During other assaults, check the Crucible of the Damned area. Additional known patrol locations include 56.27, 66.13 in Korthia, as well as 45.87, 61.89, 45.72, 62.57, 29.13, 62.34, 32, 44.5, and 28.5, 63.
Wait Before Engaging
Once Fallen Charger is spotted, allow time for other players in your group to arrive before pulling — the rare makes a zone-wide announcement when it spawns, giving everyone a chance to reach it.
Kill and Loot Daily
Defeat the Fallen Charger and loot it for a chance at the mount. You can only loot it once per day per character due to a daily lockout, so return on subsequent days to try again if the mount does not drop.
Tips
The Fallen Charger has an average spawn time of around 6 hours and 45 minutes, with the fastest recorded spawn at 1 hour 5 minutes and the slowest at 14 hours.
A zone-wide announcement appears when Fallen Charger spawns — use this to track it and move toward it before it reaches the bridge area, as it takes just over a minute to travel there after spawning.
