Acquisition Guide

The Tamed Mauler Harness is a chance drop from the Supplies of the Archivists' Codex, a Paragon reputation cache earned by accumulating reputation beyond Exalted with the Archivists' Codex in Korthia during Shadowlands.

Build Archivists' Codex Reputation

Grind Archivists' Codex reputation in Korthia until you reach Exalted, then continue earning reputation past that threshold to generate Paragon caches. Each 10,000 reputation earned beyond Exalted rewards one Supplies of the Archivists' Codex cache.

Collect Relics in Korthia

Head to at 61.6, 21.7 to begin looting relics throughout Korthia. Players have reported finding relics ranging from green to epic quality inside relic containers, and the quantity and quality can vary significantly between looting sessions.

Use Cypher of Relocation

At at 41.51, 41.41, leave the cave and head north to enter The Maw side of the map, where you can use the Cypher of Relocation to teleport to Venari's Refuge and continue reputation farming.

Open Your Paragon Caches

Each Supplies of the Archivists' Codex cache contains approximately 3,500 gold, 3x Repaired Riftkey, and 2x Teleporter Repair Kit, with a chance to also contain the Tamed Mauler Harness. Players have reported opening 10 or more caches before receiving the mount, so the drop rate is not guaranteed.
