Infested Necroray
Necrorays lay their eggs in small clusters within the frills and hollows of decaying fungal blooms.
Acquisition Guide
The Infested Necroray is one of three possible mounts that can hatch from a 
Oozing Necroray Egg, which itself comes from a 
Necroray Egg obtained in Maldraxxus after completing Maldraxxus callings.
Complete Maldraxxus Callings
Farm the Oozing Necroray Egg by completing Maldraxxus callings — players have reported obtaining eggs from Maldraxxus calling reward boxes, including those from Kyrian callings that reward Maldraxxus content.
Wait for Egg to Hatch
Once you have the Necroray Egg, it takes 3 days to hatch into an Oozing Necroray Egg, which then has a 100% chance to grant one of three mounts: 
Bulbous Necroray, Infested Necroray, or 
Pestilent Necroray — similar to the 
Primal Egg system.
Farm on Multiple Characters
You can only hold one Oozing Necroray Egg at a time in your inventory, but a second egg received while one is already in your bags will hatch via the in-game mail system instead — running multiple alts increases your total number of calling completions.
Collect All Three Mounts
Once you have obtained all three Necroray mounts, any additional eggs that hatch will instead produce a 
Gilded Slime rather than a mount.
Tips
Drop rates appear inconsistent — one player reported their first egg after 130–140 calling completions, then received two more within the next 30 tries, suggesting the rate may have been adjusted at some point.
